Genís Laguna Salvadó

Genís Laguna (Barcelona, 1991) is an artist and sound engineer currently living in Belgium, dedicated to using creativity as a tool for social change and community empowerment. With a focus on collaborative, community-driven projects, Genís works at the intersection of sound engineering, art and community engagement.

  • Graduate in Audiovisual System Engineering from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona)
  • Background in international cooperation projects in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Turkey, Belgium and Nederlans.
  • Over eight years developing participatory art projects in partnership with local organizations, schools, and cultural institutions
  • His work spans a range of mediums, including music production, sound installations, and performance, all centered around themes of multiculturalism, identity, social justice, and collective healing.

Working for KleinVerhaal:

  • He has worked as a community arts facilitator, musician, and sound engineer in project such 1op1, BoostCamp, Dreun, YaGoon among others
  • He has participated in numerous workshops and art programs designed to engage diverse groups in creative expression colaborating with international music bands and projects like Orquestra Partout, Flotsam Sessions, Hermes Ensamble and Tango Jazz Quartet.

He also has worked as a sound engineer and producer for Lola Harper, Ashtabiez, Hyena, Hysteria, Winnie de Punk and The SoulFire Project among others.
